At The Barn at Harper Pines, we believe your wedding should be a celebration, not a schedule. Our weekend rental package couples enjoy the venue for an entire weekend, allowing time to prepare, celebrate, and relax at their own pace.

On your wedding day, if you choose to bring in your own coordinator, you’ll still have one of my assistants on-site to support the venue. Your lead will oversee parking and guest arrival to ensure everything runs smoothly before your ceremony begins.
How it works
Friday
Couples gain access to the venue beginning Friday at 10:00 AM.
This gives you time to decorate the venue, rehearse your ceremony, and host a rehearsal dinner with your closest friends and family.
Saturday
Saturday is your wedding day. in a stunning countryside venue with indoor and outdoor spaces. Choose from three ceremony sites, including a romantic lakefront location with custom benches overlooking water.
Sunday
Return Sunday to gather your personal belongings and décor. The venue is available until 2:00 PM, giving couples and families time to wrap up the weekend comfortably.

Misty
Since 2012, I’ve worked with Jodie on hair and makeup for photoshoots and weddings, later assisting her as she became a coordinator.
Witnessing the transformation of The Barn at Harper Pines from a simple pole barn to a beautiful venue has been amazing. I cherish being part of meaningful moments and helping couples celebrate their special day. Fun Fact: I’ve been married to Whit for nearly 11 years and am the proud mom of our spirited son, James.

Since 2020, I've truly enjoyed working at The Barn at Harper Pines and being part of a wedding team that takes pride in helping each couple's vision come to life.
I love seeing the carefully chosen color palettes, the flavors of the food, and even the smallest details, each element telling a part of the couple's story. I've have recently decided to offer day-of wedding coordination at The Barn. With that in mind, I'm excited to continue assisting with many weddings and serving as a day-of coordinator for couples who need that extra support. Being part of such meaningful, once-in-a-lifetime moments is incredibly rewarding, and simply being able to share and offer help on that day is what makes me happy.

Since 2015, I've assisted Jodie with weddings, loving the chance to contribute to these special celebrations.
I focus on providing hospitality and, tackling any challenges while ensuring guests feel valued and décor is both beautiful and functional for a seamless event. Fun facts: I'm bilingual in Spanish and English, blending my Puerto Rican roots with my Southern Georgia upbringing, and I enjoy baking gluten- and dairy-free treats or painting in my free time.

One of my favorite parts of the job is working alongside Jodie! It makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.
I’m all about creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere and love seeing everyone relax and have a great time on such an important day. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me cheering on my granddaughters at their ball games or soaking up all the sweet moments with my 1-year-old grandson.
